Ailments

(Per the Arizona Medical Marijuana State Statutes)

Patients with a wide variety of conditions may quality for a medical marijuana evaluation. If a patient has been diagnosed with and is currently undergoing treatment for the following debilitating medical conditions they may qualify for certification:

  • Cancer
  • PTSD
  • Glaucoma
  • Positive status for human immunodeficiency virus
  • Acquired immune deficiency syndrome
  • Hepatitis C
  • Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
  • Crohn’s disease
  • Agitation of Alzheimer’s disease

A chronic or debilitating disease or medical condition that produces any of the following:

  • Cachexia or wasting syndrome
  • Severe and chronic pain
  • Severe nausea
  • Seizures (including those characteristic of epilepsy) or
  • Severe and persistent muscle spasms (including those characteristic of multiple sclerosis)
